Dialy Otero is currently Director at the Tax Division at BDO Puerto Rico/USVI. She has over 16 years of public accounting experience gained in both international and local accounting firms. During this time, she has acquired expertise in the preparation of Puerto Rico, Federal, and State Tax returns for both corporate and individual clients, as well as, for estates, trusts, partnerships and other types of entities.
Mrs. Otero has developed an expertise in tax advisory including tax planning for corporations and individuals, negotiating and obtaining income tax incentives grants, elections for special tax treatment and property and municipal license taxes related to local and federal tax laws.
Prior to joining BDO, Mrs. Otero worked at the “Big Four” International Firm Deloitte & Touche (currently Deloitte) where she worked her way from senior staff to senior manager of the Tax Department.
